BBQ @ Staci's
A fun bbq with great friends...unfortunately my camera took in some water (I sat it next to the beverage cooler which had condensation)...so another camera bites the dust, lol...at least I was able to salvage the final pics.

Then and now...
They grow up so fast...they've only had two pics from the mall, with the Big Easter Bunny (others were done at school, separate)...so here's 2013 and 2006...and I remember the first one like it was yesterday...Both just got new shoes (which they are wearing in the pic), but it was special for Ash because she got her FIRST pair of 'walking' shoes...

Ashlee DAY!
After enduring 50 needles for NOTHING (and lot's of bruising to show for it), we deemed today ASHLEE DAY...after school, she chose what reward she wanted, and where she wanted to eat dinner....so, off to the mall for Build-a-Bear...she has been begging to go to that place for months...she hasn't been there since she was a tiny tot...so she doesn't even remember it...but she LOVED this place and the cute process you go thru in picking it out and stuffing it with love...she chose 2 outfits, and shoes. Then off to dinner at food court (I was so hoping for Olive Garden or any place that sells WINE)...then a quick photo with the Easter Bunny...and home for showers. This is one very happy girl!!!

What a Prick...
Well, Ashlee went to the ENT on Monday and he said her ears, nose and throat looked 'perfect'...he agreed to see an allergist and get a chest x-ray if we could.
TODAY was the big day...45 mins before her 9am app, we prepped both arms with the numbing cream, wrapped them in saran wrap and headed to her appt. There they did 30 'pricks' in both arms...she didn't feel a thing. Then they did 20 under the skin injections into her upper arm...THAT she felt...but only 3 of them (out of 20, not bad!)
Then they did an asthma test...2 hours later...the results are IN...
No allergies at all...mild asthma (and we voted against the chest xray at this time). With the combo of her RSV as a baby, and reflux, and how she improved on her air test AFTER she took a boost of the inhaler, it was determined it's asthma...So for 6 weeks she will do an inhaler twice a day...and go back to the allergist for a follow up to see if her coughing subsides.
So here I thought she would want to stay home from school after being poked and prodded, but nope, this girl is a trooper...off to school she went...and mommy went into work as well (not happy about that)...
