Jim had to work, so me and the girls headed to Holy Rosary Church for their Children's mass with my mom and sister...when we came out of the church after mass it was snowing...NICE!!! Then we had some cheese steaks for dinner @ my mom's...then home to feed the lawn with reindeer food, read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, say goodnite to Elmer the Elf...and head to BED!!!! After all, Santa was in TEXAS...cripes!!!
BTW, usually we go to our Parish, St. Anthony's for Christmas Eve mass, but something told me to call my mom and go with her...she was thrilled...it was just her and my sister this year...so it was a nice distraction...I couldn't help while at mass, watching my 7 yr old screech with excitement about how it's almost Christmas...when I thought of the 20 other parents that would not get to see their 6 and 7 yr olds squeal with such excitement this year...it was a very humbling time...much sorrow and pain, thinking of their loss...and really truly thankful for our blessings!!!!
