My Sunday 'ROSE'

After a month of waiting, I finally was able to find a couple hours to come visit the newest addition to the Root Family!  It was so great to see Denise, and Jess and of course, Jacqueline Rose...adorable...she was so teeny tiny....so cute...and she just slept the whole time...while me and her mommy were able to catch up on life in general over a glass of wine...I hated to leave!!!  Can't wait to do this again!

Ashlee's FIRST Reconciliation

One step closer to "eating the bread" as Ashlee calls it...lol...but she did great...a tad nervous, she couldn't wait to get dressed up (after all, we were going up on the Alter)...and well, she was up there a.bit.LONG (I thought)....lol...!  Anyway, she beemed with delight afterwards when she received her red heart from Fr. Rigaldi...she truly gets it!!  I thought afterwards we'd celebrate the BIG DAY by going to Kid Shelleen's...but Ash wanted chix nuggets from McD's...Haylee wanted nuggets from Chick-fil-a, and I craved the new cantina bowl from TB...(it's my new fave)...

Beach Bound...

This year we are going to try something totally different for NYE.  Normally Jim, the girls and I stay low key...(dinner out, then all pile in our bed to watch the ball drop, clad with pots and pans, then ZONK)...and personally, I love that down time.  BUT, we were asked to join in with the Richs and the Fillibens on a joint venture to the BEACH for a long w/e...so, we are off to Dewey in search of a small townhome OCEAN FRONT!  We all agreed if we were going to the beach, we all wanted to hear and see the ocean from our house!!  So, once we find the right house, we will go down on Dec 29 thru Jan 1...now that is what I call a great way to end the old year and ring in the new...cheers to the NEW YEAR!
